Williams Company Building Division says it has broken ground for Orange County Public Schools’ (OCPS) new $16.9 million Rock Lake Elementary replacement school located at 408 N. Tampa Ave., Orlando. The Orlando-based general contractor also announced it has been awarded OCPS’s new $37.3 million Lake Como K-8 School which is slated to break ground on January 13 at 901 S. Bumby Ave.
The company is also under way on OCPS’s new $51.4 million PS8 School, a preschool to eighth-grade campus located at 701 W. Livingston Street in downtown Orlando. The Rock Lake and PS8 schools are scheduled for completion in June 2017 and the Lake Como school is slated to be completed in summer 2018.
Orlando-based Williams Company, also with offices in Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, specializes in commercial, retail, industrial and educational projects, and is currently licensed in 15 states from Texas to Maryland.
