The YMCA of South Florida recently broke ground on the L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center.
The 65,000 sq.-ft., four story, multi-use structure is located at 1409 Sistrunk Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
The building will offer ground floor retail space, business incubator/ co-working space, pre/afterschool, wellness center, gym, pool, community conference space, rooftop patios, and black box theatre.
The project will cost $15 million. Construction is set to complete in January 2021.
