A permit application has been filed on April 4 with Miami’s Building Department to begin vertical construction at the estimated $970 million Waldorf Astoria supertall tower. Hard construction costs, according to the permit application, are estimated at $426 million

John Moriarty Associates Florida is listed as the contractor.

Previously, a foundation permit was filed in October 2021 and is nearing approval, The Next Miami has reported.

The complex will include 375 condo units, 205 lodging units, 5,284 sq. ft. of restaurant space; 6,171 sq. ft. for offices, and 1,513 sq. ft. of retail. There will be 11 parking floors.
