Flavio Gomez, Miami-Dade’s building department building division director, will speak with members of the South Florida Associated General Contractors’ South Florida Chapter on Nov. 17.
The chapter says in its announcement that “there have been a number of changes to the Florida Uniform State Building Code that affect the construction industry.”
“Additionally, the Miami Dade Building Department has made a number of new changes to the operation of permitting and inspection,” the announcement says.
The lunch program will take place at the Pullman Miami Airport Hotel at 5800 Blue Lagoon. Admission is $50 for members and $65.00 for non-members.
