Netherlands-based CitizenM is building a 12-story hotel in downtown Miami.
The 351-key hotel is being built at 700 NE Second Ave. It will be a 128,000-sq.-ft. building between 7th and 8th streets. It is adjacent to Miami Worldcenter’s pedestrian-only shopping promenade.
The building will feature a sundeck on the 10th floor, a rooftop bar, and 1,850 sq. ft. of creative space and meeting rooms.
Miami Worldcenter is a $2-billion mixed-use development in the center of downtown. Construction is underway on the first phase of the project, which includes the 60-story Paramount condo, the 444-unit CAOBA apartment tower and high-street retail.
The CitizenM hotel is set to complete completion in late 2021.
