Maitland-based general contractor Welbro Building Inc.will release bids in September for a $25 million-plus Casselberry senior-living community, the Orlando Business Journal reports. Interested companies can find more information at Welbro’s website.
Vertical construction will begin in October, said J.P. Hurd, Welbro’s pre-construction manager.
The community will have 154 units, including 79 for independent living, 54 for assisted living and 21 for memory care, said Randy Woodruff, community development services manager at the city of Casselberry. Allegro Senior Living of parent company Allegro Development Co. is the project developer.
The business newspaper reports that Hurd said the community at the intersection of Lake Ann Rd. and Howell Branch Rd. will be along the perimeter of a lake, creating lake views from some units. Other resort-style, luxury amenities will include spas, pools, fine dining and other leisure entertainment activities.
Bessolo Design Group is the project architect.
