Urban Land Institute evaluating Fort Lauderdale’s flood-prone roads

The City of Fort Lauderdale has asked the Urban Land Institute (ULI) to convene an independent volunteer advisory services panel to analyze flood-prone City roads and recommend criteria for a policy to determine which roads to elevate and how to prioritize and fund these improvements.

A “listening session” will be held on March 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Museum of Discovery & Science Keller Science Center, 401 SW 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, .immediately following the panel’s visit to the ULI Advisory Services Panel Study Area.

Recommendations will be released on March 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the L.A. Lee YMCA / Mizell Community Center Victory Black Box Theatre. 1409 NW 6th St.
