U.S. Pavement Services Inc., a full-service paving and pavement maintenance contractor with national coverage in the U.S. and Canada, says it will open a new office in Sarasota in February.
The company says in a news release the office will become the new home to the company’s national project management team, adding to existing presence in Denver, CO and Vermont. The new location will also join U.S. Pavement Services’ corporate headquarters in Woburn, MA.
The Florida office is in response to the company’s rapid growth, answering strong demand from customers and increasing geographic coverage. National accounts director Blake Kelly indicated in the statement that having the entire project management team more centralized will result in a higher level of service for clients and partners.
“This will allow us to expand beyond the seasonality that the northern weather dictates,” Blake says. “Florida is a huge market that continues to grow rapidly, and we are eager to get involved in those efforts.”
The new building will optimize the team’s capabilities and increase their ability to better serve current clients, and open new opportunity with future customers.
“I see this as a natural evolution for our organization,” said chief operating officer Andrew Musto. “Our national project management team working together in this market in one central office will result in efficiencies and better communication. Our entire National team and partners will benefit from having this added presence in my hometown.”
Since the company was founded in 1985 by CEO Mike Musto, the main focus of the company has been to lead the pavement industry. “Our success in New England is a huge point of pride for me,” Musto says. “What our industry-leading crews have accomplished allows us to make strides in our national business and empower our outstanding national team as they embark on this new, exciting chapter.”
