SchenkelShultz Architecture names senior project manager

SchenkelShultz Architecture, Orlando, announced that Michael W. Rodriguez joined the firm as a senior project manager.

Rodriguez will serve as part of the firm’s Greater Orlando Aviation Authority General Consultant team. He is a registered architect and a registered interior designer in Florida, and has more than 35 years of architecture experience including over 10 years of aviation design, according to a statement.

Rodriguez is recipient of the 2013 AIA Florida Citizen Architect Award presented by the American Institute of Architects, Florida Chapter. Earlier, he served as president of the AIA Orlando Chapter. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida.

In addition, Rodriguezhas been a longtime member of the American Institute of Architects, Orlando, and Florida Chapters, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
