Work begins on $25M assisted living center in Homestead

The Palace Group has started construction of a $25 million assisted living and memory care center in Homestead, reports South Florida Business Journal.

In 2013, the Miami-based developer acquired the 10-acre site from Baptist Health South Florida for $3 million.

The Palace at Homestead will have 200 residences and 55,000 square feet of amenities in four stories.The 158,000-square-foot complex will replace the existing Palace Gardens.
