PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has announced the addition of Ytiel Lopez Jr. as senior project manager. His 15 years and nearly $550 million of local project management experience, will continue to ensure the delivery of top quality PREMIER projects in South Florida, the company says in a news release.
Lopez began his project management career in Miami. Early initiatives included the construction of new luxury apartments as well as various structural and roofing renovations for condominiums. Subsequently, Lopez worked on large-scale site improvements to a major seaport. He helped renovate a 16-story hotel and 25-story condo. He also managed the construction of a 61,000 sq. ft. educational facility and a 116,000 sq. ft. visual effects studio—the latter was a $25 million project.
Other highlights of his project management career include building a two-story, 48,000 sq. ft. fitness and wellness facility for a large high school. He was also responsible for the construction of a 47,000 sq. ft., $15 million retail building. Lopez also played the lead role in developing two 12-story luxury condominium buildings—a 1.1 million sq. ft., $122 million project.
“Ytiel has an excellent design and build track record in Florida that clients will immediately benefit from,” says PREMIER vice-president Mark Melone. “More than that, he knows how to partner with clients and manage field initiatives to deliver extraordinary results. We’re fortunate to have him on our team.”
