Plaza Construction presented a $155,000 check to Voices For Children Foundation, Inc., at Plaza’s 10th Annual Golf Invitational at La Gorce Country Club on Feb. 29, surpassing last year’s $150,000 charitable contribution
The foundation enables the Guardian ad Litem Program to recruit, train and support volunteers to serve as the “Voice” for abused, abandoned and neglected children by advocating for their best interests in dependency court proceedings. Voices’ financial support also helps fulfill the children’s medical, educational and social needs in Miami-Dade. With more than 100 golfers and supporters participating, this year’s Platinum tournament sponsors included Areda Construction, Baker Concrete, and Capform, and Gold sponsors included Dynalectric and HJ Foundation.
