Teresa Torres has joined Amicon Construction Management, a boutique owner’s representation and construction management firm, as senior vice-president. She will be focused on attracting and developing top-tier talent and establishing processes to grow the company while optimizing the customer experience, the company says in a news release.
“Teresa is a veteran real estate development executive who has specialized in multi-unit retail developments across the US,” the Miami-based company’s announcement said. “She previously worked for Chicago-based, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLI) where she led the nationwide expansion program for Capital One’s new café-bank concept.”
Before joining JLL, Teresa was responsible for the ground-up development and tenant improvement for Chase Bank in the Southeast region. She also worked on the nationwide rebranding and renovation of more than 1,700 former Washington Mutual Bank properties. She was directly responsible for over 700 stores spread across 10 states and five regions.
