Nova Southeastern University has broken ground on its Tampa Bay Regional Campus in Clearwater.

The new 325,000-sq.ft., building will replace the university’s existing Tampa campus. The project includes a new site for the university’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The works are being realized through a commitment from the Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel. The commitment from the Patel Family Foundation includes a $50 million gift and an additional $150 million real estate and facility investment in the education complex.

Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
