The North Florida Regional Medical Center is starting a $110-million upgrade project next month.
The renovations project, which include four main upgrades, will begin in early October, according to WCJB.
The hospital will spend $70 million to expand its south tower, $20 million to renovate its north tower and $17.5 million on a new parking garage. Meanwhile, the hospital is spending $3 million to renovate its emergency room.
The expansion project is expected to be completed by late 2020 or early 2021. Construction will begin very soon, according to officials.
