Miller Construction, which has been in business for 47 years, is spending $3.5 million to renovate an existing Fort Lauderdale building for a new corporate headquarters and training center.

Miller purchased the building at 5750 N. Powerline Rd., south of Cypress Creek Road, earlier this year for $1.6 million, president Brian Sudduth says. The construction firm plans to move from its headquarters of 43 years at 614 S. Federal Highway to the new building in March 2020.

The new 10,600-sq. ft. headquarters building will feature meeting, huddle and training spaces, as well as open work areas and private offices.
