PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC says it welcomes Mark Ford as a senior project manager at their Southern Florida office. He brings 40-plus years and more than $100 million of construction management experience in commercial and industrial projects to PREMIER.

Ford facilitates problem-solving strategies and coordinates with consultants and subcontractors. He is in charge of RFI and submittal tracking, bid solicitation, proposal qualifications, contract negotiation, financial management, change orders, invoices and billing. Ford works closely with fellow project managers, develops detailed forecasts and produces comprehensive reports for executives.

“I’ve worked in construction for a long time, yet I’m always looking to learn more and overcome new challenges,” says Ford. “That’s why I joined PREMIER. They are setting new standards in the industry.”

He began his career as a superintendent and project engineer. Ford has worked on hundreds of commercial and institutional projects over the years from auto dealerships and educational institutions to government buildings and business parks. He last served as a senior project manager for a leading contractor in Fort Lauderdale.

“Mark is not only a great senior project manager, he is a leader,” says PREMIER vice-president Michael Pacini. “His experience with the design + build industry and familiarity with the region will benefit our Florida clients. We are fortunate to have him on the team.”

Ford is proud to have been the driving force behind many projects including a 265,000 sq. ft. fully conditioned warehouse for an aerospace industry tenant, an industrial park consisting of three buildings spanning a total of 426,000 sq. ft. and six of nine buildings of a business park in Medley, Florida. Currently, he is leading the design and construction of phase one of a speculative industrial park in Miami Gardens, which will feature three state-of-the-art buildings totaling more than one million sq. ft.

While away from the office you can find Ford fishing, painting, working on hotrods or giving back to his community with his wife.
