Kaufman Lynn Construction says it has topped out the Merrimac Plantation Apartments in Plantation, a multi-family residential project.
The contractor says the project occupies a total 293,945 sq. ft. with 306 apartments ranging from one-to-three-bedroom layouts across two six-story midrise buildings. Construction is slated for completion in 2023.
The contractor says the project will be adjacent to the Plantation Midtown Business District, an 860-acre, master-planned development featuring retail, restaurants and office space. It is also near Plantation Pointe Office Park, Westside Regional Medical Center, the Plantation Walk, and Plantation’s 103-acre Central Park.
