The Ferber Company has broken ground on Durbin Creek Crossing, a 70-acre mixed-use development in St. Johns County.

The development includes the county’s second Aldi grocery store. In addition to the 19,000-sq.-ft. Aldi, other tenants will be ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, First Florida Credit Union and Tire Kingdom.

Durbin Creek Crossing includes 10 outparcels of 0.79 to 2.56 acres each. The property includes about 30 acres for apartment development, a 6.5-acre pond and 22 acres of wetlands. Vallencourt Construction is building the project, while England-Thims & Miller is the project’s civil engineer.
