Gainesville student housing apartment building breaks ground

Construction manager Roger B. Kennedy, Inc. broke ground August 19 for Trimark Properties’ new Savion Park Luxury Apartments, a five-story, 55-unit student housing apartment building at 719 SW 5 Ave.under its $8.5 million contract with Midtown Properties of Gainesville, LLC. Designed by Skinner Vignola McLean, Inc., Gainesville, the community is slated for fall 2014 move-in and will offer floor plans ranging from studio apartments to four bedroom apartments and townhouses according to its website.  In addition, apartments will feature floor to ceiling windows in select units, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, ethernet ports in every bedroom, a convenience elevator, resident parking and more.
