Nominations have opened for the 2017 Best Construction Blog competition, sponsored by the Construction News and Report Group of Companies, which publishes Florida Construction News.
The annual competition combines popular vote and independent judging to determine he most effective blog for design, content, and engagement. All qualified entries receive free review/publicity and an ongoing free listing in the Construction Marketing Ideas blog.
“There’s no cost to enter the competition,” says coordinator Mark Buckshon. “The competition is open to both residential and non-residential sectors, and to businesses serving the architectural, engineering and construction community.”
To qualify, blogs should be published with some routine frequency and not be designed primarily for search engine optimization (“splog”). Of course it is okay if SEO is a factor in the blog’s reason for being there — as enhanced search engine rankings are one of the main benefits of ongoing blogging.
