DeAngelis Diamond says it has been selected to build the Babcock Neighborhood School High School, a 39,000-sq. ft. charter high school in Babcock Ranch.
For the Design/Build services, the company has partnered with Studio+. Together, this team built the Babcock Neighborhood School in 2018.
The new high school will be connected to the existing school via a covered walkway. Highlighting flexible and adaptable spaces, the high school will feature 24 classrooms, academy support spaces, AICE labs and administrative support spaces.
In addition to the high school, DeAngelis Diamond and Studio+ were recently awarded the new Southwest Florida Regional Emergency Shelter for the Babcock Ranch Community ISD. The new hurricane shelter and high school will be completed simultaneously with an estimated completion date of June 2022.
