Synagro Technologies Inc. on Feb. 13 announced that it completed construction of its newest organics recycling center in Southwest Florida.
The company’s $4.3 million composting facility is located in Charlotte County.
“This new recycling facility helps to meet the region’s growing demand for a sustainable solution to the challenges of managing organic residuals” Synagro president and CEO Eric Zimmer said in a statement.
The center will minimize environmental impact by utilizing proven aerobic composting to recycle organics including biosolids, yard trimmings and other green waste.
