Broward County Commission receives four development proposals

The Broward County Commission has received four major development proposals, which include a hotel, a corporate headquarters and a waterfront apartment building.

HDRS LLC wants to build a 119-room hotel rise just off Interstate 95 in Deerfield Beach.
The WoodSpring Suites would be located at 1400 S.W. 11th Way/FAU Research Park Blvd.

United Data Technologies plans to build a three-storey, 62,834 sq. ft. office on 3.7 acres behind the Shoppes of Monarch Lakes at Miramar Pkwy. and Monarch Lakes Blvd. It acquired the property for $2.1 million in 2015.

Craig Zinn Automotive wants to build a 407,180 sq. ft. facility at 1841 N. State Rd. 7. The development plans were designed by Stiles Corp.

The $25 million project would have a 123,427 sq. ft. dealership building, including 54,321 sq. ft. for service, 32,095 sq. ft. for the showroom and 22,838 sq. ft. for offices.

Merrimac Ventures and Alliance Residential plan to build an apartment building along the Intracoastal Waterway in Pompano Beach. The project will be called Broadstone Oceanside and was designed by MSA Architects.

According to South Florida Business Journal, Broadstone Oceanside would have 211 apartments, 2,700 sq. ft. of retail, a 432-space parking garage and 27 boat slips at 1333 S. Ocean Blvd. The site is owned by WH Pompano, which is managed by Motwani. He plans to create a joint venture with Phoenix based apartment developer Alliance Residential.
