Miami-based Ocean Bank has provided a $39.7  million construction loan for the The Brickell Ten apartment tower project.

Contractor Civic Construction is building the 33,760 sq. ft. building at 228 SW 10th St. and 1010 SW 2nd Ave., with 155 apartments and 13,400 sq. ft. of retail space.

Brickell Ten LLC, a joint venture between IB Corp. and Bay Harbor Islands-based Waterstone Capital, led by Richard Waserstein, is developing the project.

South Florida Business Journal reports that the building, a few blocks west of Brickell Ave., is near “Miami’s main financial district and home to a frenzy of residential and retail construction activity.”

BC Architects based in Coral Gables designed the structure, with interior designs by Adrian Hoyos.
