.A $35 million renovation is underway at the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration, as the company’s ownership and management have changed.
Tishman Hotel Corporation recently purchased the 718-room property, about 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World. Management company StepStone Hospitality will oversee the property.
The renovation encompasses guest rooms and suites, outdoor pool areas, a restaurant and conference center. Work is expected to be completed by early 2023.
“The room renovation construction is contained to one of the hotel’s six towers at a time, to avoid interruptions to the guest experience,” Hospitalitynet reports. The lobby and two of the six towers have already been completed.
