Firmo Construction says it has been hired to build a Tru by Hilton in Jacksonville by I-95 South. Jacksonville municipal building permit records indicate the project owned by hospitality development group OMSHIV JAX LLC has a $6 million construction value.
“Firmo is excited to partner with this the OMSHIV JAX development team to bring the Jacksonville area a new hospitality opportunity,” Firmo president Eric Collin said in a statement after the early March groundbreaking ceremony. “With multiple Hilton builds up and down the state, we’re ready to apply our construction expertise and continue our longstanding partnership with the Hilton brand to promote tourism in the region.”
The project’s architect is Bharat R Patel Architect, Inc. The future four-story hotel at 4945 Lenoir Ave. will feature 98 guest rooms, a fitness room, patio, outdoor pool, and lounge and gaming area. At a little over 45,000 sq. ft., the structure will be situated on a 2.65-acre lot.
