A developer has broken ground on the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA Family Center in Orlando.
The expansion and renovation will transform this Y into a Healthy Living Zone complete with a teaching Café providing education on healthy eating to individuals and families.
The project, designed by SchenkelShultz Architecture (Orlando), will cost $9 million.
The 77,000-sq. ft. addition and renovation is slated for completion in 2015.H.J. High Construction Co. is the general contractor.
