WGI awarded nine service contracts around Florida

Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) says it has been awarded nine new service or continuing service contracts by municipalities and counties around the state, representing over $4.0 million in new business.

Delray Beach Community Beach Redevelopment Agency (CRA)

WGI says it beat 13 other engineering firms to receive a continuing contract with the City of Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). WGI will provide engineering services under this three-year contract, as well as making its entire suite of service divisions available to the CRA.

Village of Key Biscayne

The Village of Key Biscayne awarded WGI a contract to prepare and deliver a feasibility study for the undergrounding of all aerial power and communication facilities within the village, which will cover approximately 1,500 homes and commercial properties.

Solid Waste Authority (SWA)

WGI says it  ranked first place to win a five-year continuing services contract for professional surveying and mapping services, adding to its growing list of landfill-type projects throughout the state, including Okeechobee County, Glades County, and the City of Naples landfills.

City of Tampa

WGI was selected for a two-year architecture/engineering work order contract for general services with the City of Tampa that includes design services for all roadway, structures, drainage, environmental, survey, landscape architecture, and other transportation-related infrastructure.

St. Lucie County

Working under a recently awarded five-year continuing engineering services contract from St. Lucie County, the team of WGI (prime) and HCE was asked to perform a preliminary engineering and capacity analysis for the proposed Central County Wastewater Treatment Facility. The project includes plant upgrades to the wastewater treatment system, and is the first awarded work authorization from the continuing service contracts with the County.

City of Ft. Lauderdale

WGI won a two-year contract to provide structural engineering services, assisting the city by proactively maintaining its bridge, building, water, and wastewater infrastructure while increasing their sustainability and resiliency to sea level rise. The contract is to provide structural engineering services including bridges, bulkheads, seawalls, boat ramps, buildings, water and wastewater plant structures, and miscellaneous structures throughout the city.

Town of Jupiter

WGI was awarded a five-year continuing services contract for general civil engineering, traffic engineering, land surveying, and other services as needed including landscape architecture, irrigation, and structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering.

City of Palm Beach Gardens

Palm Beach Gardens awarded WGI a contract for civil, transportation, survey, landscape architecture, planning, and environmental services on a continuing basis over a five-year period.

Martin County

WGI says it was selected to provide Martin County with countywide surveying and mapping services on a continuing basis for the next three years.
