West Construction wins contract to build new fire station in Tamarac

West Construction received a contract by Tamarac City Commission to demolish the existing 6,000-square-footFire Station building, which was built in 1978.

The company will design and construct a 9,300-square-foot facility to replace the existing one, reports Sun Sentinel.

The project will cost $3.8 million. It is expected to be completed in 580 days.
