SchenkelShultz Architecture (Orlando) has announced that it will design Orange County Public Schools’ West Orange Relief High School.

With a construction budget of $70 million, the new 385,000-sq. ft. prototype school, with added Florida Vernacular features, will be located near County Rd. 535 and Ficquette Rd..

The school, expected to open in 2017, will accommodate approximately 2,800 students and will relieve overcrowding at West Orange High School.
