SchenkelShultz Architecture names Craig A. Kirkwood as principal

SchenkelShultz Architecture (Orlando)said that it promoted Craig A. Kirkwood to principal from senior aviation designer and planner.

Kirkwood has more than 25 years of aviation design experience. He join SchenkelShultz in May 2013.

Kirkwood, who is a registered architect and a registered interior designer in Florida, has been involved in all aspects of aviation design, including landside and airside facilities, domestic and international facilities, concessions, rental car facilities and baggage systems, the company said in a statement.

Kirkwood has worked with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for 28 years on projects to enhance the passenger’s experience at the Orlando International Airport.

Previously, Kirkwood served as a principal and project director for KBJ Architects.
