Roger B. Kennedy announced that it named Ron Whalen as vice president.
Whalen, a seasoned Florida construction veteran with 25 years of experience, joined the firm in October 2014 as project executive/pre-construction services.
His executive duties include feasibility analysis, initial programming, conceptual budgeting, permitting, pre-construction, contract negotiation and administration, project management and close-out, the firm said in a statement.
Whalen is a licensed Florida Certified General Contractor and is also a LEED Accredited Professional as designated by the United States Green Building Council.
