Adianez Lugo has joined PREMIER Design + Build (PDB), LLC’s South Florida office as a project manager, providing planning, leadership and problem solving skills.
She has a Master’s of Science in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University and has overseen numerous projects from kickoff to completion. “She has the integrity and work ethic to inspire our teams, keep them on track and top expectations for our clients,” a PDB spokesperson says. “She believes in 24/7-commitment to clients and going the extra mile wherever possible, which is a direct reflection of PREMIER values.”

Her overall responsibilities include project management by way of problem solving, developing critical path schedules and subcontract administration, which includes contract negotiation, financial management and bidding, budgeting and scheduling.
Additionally, Lugo works with field superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities for each design and build project to which she is appointed. “She is instrumental in monitoring and controlling projects through administrative direction to ensure projects are in line with the schedule and within the agreed upon fiscal estimate,” the company spokesperson said.
Lugo began her project management career at a leading contractor in Miami. While there, she managed 15 to 20 projects at a time. She maintained project schedules, generated monthly project reports, reviewed warranties and assisted with the procurement process.
Subsequently, she moved to a major engineering and construction company where she took on larger projects and responsibilities. Prior to coming to PREMIER, she worked at a leading design and build corporation. Over the years, she has taken a more active role in planning budgets and tracking spending. “She has a proven track record with staffing plans, coordinating prime contract change requests, change orders, change directives and RFP issuance,” the spokesperson said.

She is currently working on a state-of-the-art, class A, industrial distribution center in Fort Lauderdale that will span more than 220,000 sq. ft. upon completion. The ultramodern facility will be constructed with flexible warehouse configurations to accommodate multiple tenants and today’s most sophisticated end users.
Lugo is OSHA certified and thrives in a fast-paced environment where her perseverance and work ethic serve her well. She enjoys giving back to her community and believes in helping out whenever she can—she has first aid and CPR training.
