Ortega Construction Company has announced it has been awarded the contract to build Capri Place II, a new mixed-use community in Miami designed to meet the city’s growing demand for affordable housing.

The project, developed in partnership with Richman Group Development, will break ground in the fourth quarter of this year at 8001 NW 27th Avenue. The development will occupy a 2.66-acre site and feature an eight-story building with a total of 180 residential units, including 173 one- and two-bedroom apartments and seven townhomes.

Capri Place II will also include 3,040 square feet of retail space, a pool and spa, and a three-story, 88,964-square-foot parking garage providing 232 parking spaces.

The project represents Ortega Construction’s expansion into a new and growing market sector in Miami, reflecting the city’s continued population growth and increasing need for housing options that are both accessible and well-located.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, with completion timelines to be announced.
