Miami commissioners to vote on downtown seaplane terminal

Miami commissioners will vote on March 10 on a utilities deal that would allow a seaplane base to be built in the waters off downtown Miami.

Nautilus Enterprises is developing the new terminal, which will be operated by Chalk’s Airline Inc., The Next Miami has reported.

Kobi Karp is the architect.

  • a 30,438 sq. ft. full service restaurant;
  • 10,209 sq. ft airport concourse area;
  • No other uses are outlined in the utilities deal, as areas such as parking don’t need to be part of the agreement.)

The published report says “there does not yet appear to be a construction permit pending for the project.”
