LandSouth announces 2016 Diamond Award winners

LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, FL based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior housing and mixed-use development has announced that Jason Cromer and Duke Overstreet have been named co-winners of the firm’s 2016 Diamond Award.

“Every year the Diamond Award is voted on by the employees based on which team members best represented the company’s core values and mission,” LandSouth president and CEO James Pyle said in a statement.

Cromer was recently promoted to senior project manager and has been with LandSouth for 12 years.

Cromer is responsible for field management operations, managing subcontractors, developing strong relationships with clients and achieving project completion and satisfaction from his clients. He began his construction management career in 2005 and has successfully integrated his technical skills into field management operations.

Overstreet is an assistant superintendent for LandSouth projects in Orlando and has been with company for nine years.

“Duke has more than two decades experience in multi-family construction and plays a vital role in the construction process and completion of projects for our clients in Central Florida,” Pyle said.

The news release says “LandSouth Construction is led by a deeply experienced team of construction and real estate professionals with an extensive portfolio of luxury and high-density apartments, senior living, commercial, office, mixed-use, hospitality and affordable housing. Collectively, during their careers, the leadership team has been involved in building over 30,000 units and 50 million square feet for a total of over $3 billion.”

Now in its 19th year, LandSouth Construction has completed more than 12,000 multifamily units, including apartments, senior living, condominiums, and townhomes.

LandSouth Construction is currently working on apartments and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast including Lawrenceville, GA, Boynton Beach, Daytona Beach, Delray Beach, Sanford, Lakeland, Davenport, Casselberry, Odessa, Winter Springs and Orlando FL, Chattanooga, TN., Mt. Pleasant, SC and senior housing in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, FL.
