KAST Construction announced that it is expanding operations to Florida’s west coast.
The company said in a statement that it recently topped out a nine-story, 84-residence luxury condominium building at Water Club Snell Isle in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The building will be ready for occupancy in June 2014.
KAST Construction expects to begin prep work in January on its second major development, which consists of a 275-room hotel and 18-story luxury condominium tower in downtown Sarasota.
“We see excellent opportunities in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas. Our long-standing reputation and proven track record has been the foundation of our business which has continued steadily even through the downturn. Now that the economic outlook is more positive, we are expanding geographically along with demand from our repeat customers,” KAST Construction President Michael Neal said in a statement.
