Jupiter Medical Center has broken ground on its second hospital, a project that health system leaders say will expand access to emergency, surgical and specialty care for the rapidly growing population of western Palm Beach County.
The Jupiter Medical Center Neighborhood Hospital at The Health Park at Avenir will include a 53,000-square-foot hospital with 29 inpatient beds, four operating rooms, 24-hour emergency services, a diagnostic laboratory and imaging services. The campus also will feature a three-story, 47,000-square-foot medical office building housing Jupiter Medical Center physicians specializing in primary care, concierge medicine, orthopedics, cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary medicine and general surgery.
Both facilities are expected to open in early 2028.
“Today is a proud and historic moment for Jupiter Medical Center and for the communities we serve,” President and CEO Dr. Amit Rastogi said. “Breaking ground on the second hospital in our health system’s history represents a defining step in our continued growth and our mission to expand access to the highest-quality care across our region.”
Rastogi said the new campus will bring advanced emergency, surgical and specialty care closer to patients in western Palm Beach County while strengthening the health system’s continuum of care.
The Health Park at Avenir is being developed by Palm Beach Gardens-based Sina Companies, with Black Diamond Construction serving as general contractor.

The campus will be located at the corner of Northlake Boulevard and Landstar Drive within the master-planned Avenir community, which is approved for 3,650 homes along with retail, office and recreational development.
The project also includes plans for two additional two-story, 25,000-square-foot medical office buildings. Those buildings will break ground at a later date, and leasing is underway.
