The Hallandale Beach City Commission has approved the massive Oasis mixed-use project.
Developer Romagnole Investment Properties wants to build 500 residential high-rise units, 200 hotel rooms, 26,489 sq. ft. of retail, 7,340 sq. ft. of restaurants, 57,048 sq. ft. of office and 1,691 parking spaces at 1000 and 1100 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., South Florida Business Journal reports.
The 10.1-acre site is on the north side of Gulfstream Park.
The business publication reports that Raul Carreras is the Oasis project manager at architect Bermello Ajamil & Partners.
The plan calls for two 26-story residential towers, each with 250 units. The total breakdown would be 108 one-bedroom units, 302 two-bedroom units and 90 three-bedroom units. As well, there would be 20-story and 10-story mixed-use towers connected and another one-story commercial building.
