Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) is building a new $145 million headquarters in Jacksonville.
The 300,000-sq. ft. headquarters is expected to be completed in 2022 on land hugging the St. Johns River. Gilbane Building Co. is the general contractor for the 12-story office at 347 Riverside Ave., part of a 4.5 acre site. There also will be an eight-story parking structure
The city issued two building permits last week to start the foundations of a 12-story office tower and eight-story parking garage at 347 Riverside Ave., part of a 4.5-acre site in Brooklyn on downtown’s edge, The Florida-Times Union has reported.
FIS paid $14 million in May to purchase a parking lot from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida. The deal to build the new headquarters included about $30 million in state and local incentives, the newspaper reported.
