Elit has started work on a retail center in Miramar city in Broward County.
The project, dubbed The Grove at Miramar, will be built on the southeastern corner of Miramar Boulevard and South Flamingo Rd., occupying about 5.6 acres, according to a report from Commercial Property Executive.
The $15-million, four-building project will be built by GD Construction, which is the general contractor. The retail center will feature up to 45,000 sq. ft. of leasable space, more than 200 parking spaces as well as restaurants, physicians or financial institutions.
Gallo Herbert Architects is the designer of the development and plans to incorporate several pedestrian sidewalks and landscaping. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2019.
