Strategic Property Partners have started construction on a 20-story office project in Tampa.
Dubbed 1001 Water, the new trophy office tower is part of Water Street Tampa, a 56-acre development on the metro’s urban waterfront.
The roughly 380,000 sq.-ft. office tower will include office and retail space. Designed by COOKFOX Architects, the development at 1001 Water St. will feature a rooftop terrace.
Coastal Construction will be responsible for the construction of the office tower, which is scheduled for completion in late summer 2021.
Water Street Tampa is a multi-phased, mixed-use project that is set to include more than 9 million sq. ft. of commercial, residential, hospitality, educational, entertainment, cultural and retail space. The $3 billion development is expected to offer 1 million sq. ft. of office space.
