AdventHealth says that it will work with Moffitt Cancer Center to build an outpatient cancer center on the campus of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Pasco County.

The hospital broke ground on a 100,000-sq.-ft. medical office complex. The new three-story building is estimated to cost $44 million.

The new outpatient center inside the new building will provide medical and radiation oncology services and is designed to accommodate 20 exam rooms, 22 infusion stations and two linear accelerators.

The outpatient center at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
