$170 million hotel, housing development under construction in Orlando

Visions Orlando, a $170 million mixed-use luxury vacation hotel community is under construction in Davenport.

The development of single-family homes and townhomes is being built on a 42-acre site and will be anchored by a 12,000-sq. ft. building with a gym, pilates rooms and yoga deck, steam room and sauna. The clubhouse, also includes restaurants, a movie theater, kids room, arcade, driving simulators and a business center with video presentation.

Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool with a kid’s waterpark, family-sized Jacuzzis and hot tubs, cabanas with a wet bar and firepits, a playground and croquet lawn, tennis, volleyball and pickle ball courts, and golf putting and. bikeshare and more.

Also, the long-term plan includes a 5-acre nature reserve and a 70,000-sq. ft. retail strip with a pedestrian street to be built in a future phase.

“Our goal is to develop a resort hotel community like no other,” says Robert Thorne, CEO of UNCG. “We want the guests to have a unique sense of arrival at our two-story lobby that will accommodate all traveler’s needs.”

The investors in the project include Peruvian-based V&V Group, along with additional private investors.

Construction of the initial phase of the single-family homes and townhouses is scheduled to begin in Q2 2023, with initial completions in the second quarter of 2024, including the hotel component.
