A five-story $16 million apartment project is ready to commence construction, after its builder Roger B. Kennedy Construction broken ground on Dec. 11.
The Lofts at South Lake will sit at the intersection of Citrus Tower Blvd. and Oakley Seaver Dr. The developer is Atlanta-based Inland Atlantic Development Corp.. The designer is North Carolina firm ORA Architects.
The project is expected to deliver 144 residential units with structured parking. It will also provide tenants with a “balance of live/work amenities, offering both top of the line tech amenities as well as great traditional amenities, which include a swimming pool and clubroom.”
“The Lofts at South Lake were designed with the needs of the community in mind in order to provide a transformational residence for those who live and work in the area,” ORA Architects stated on its official website.
Completion is scheduled for November 2018. Upon delivery, the project will then become the third apartment building that Kennedy Construction has built for Inland Atlantic in Orlando. Overall, the contractor has already built nearly 500 units within the area for the developer.
Most recently, in August 2017, a collaboration of Kennedy Construction and Inland Atlantic completed the Residences at Seminole Commons, another apartment project at Rinehart Rd., Sanford. The building, which cost $14 million, delivered a total of 175 residential units.
