Williams Company selected for $41.3M Downtown PS8 School in Orlando

Williams Company announced that its building division was selected for Orange County Public Schools’$41.3 million Downtown PS8 School in Orlando.

The new unnamed Pre-School/K-8 learning center will be located at Parramore Avenue and Amelia Street in Orlando. It is designed by the Orlando architectural team of Baker Barrios and HKS Architects

The facility will address the needs of pre-school and middle school students at one campus.

Construction is slated to begin in January 2016.The school is scheduled to open in August 2017.

The project is a collaboration of OCPS, the Rosen Foundation, University of Central Florida, Valencia College, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, and the City of Orlando.
