Williams Co. announced that it broke ground for phase two at The Commons on Pretty Pond assisted living facility located in Zephyrhills.

The work consists of a 24-unit Memory Care unit valued at about $1 million.

Construction is slated for completion in April.

In 2013, Williams completed phase one at The Commons, which included room conversions, life safety system and ADA upgrades totaling about $1 million.

Also, the general contractor and construction manager completed four construction projects at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus under the firm’s continuing services contract with the university.

In addition, the company announced it completed two mechanical equipment replacement projects at Hillsborough Community College Brandon Campus.
