Williams Company Southeast plans to break ground in July for Vineland Pointe, a new 447,500 sq. ft. Disney-area shopping center developed by New York-based O’Connor Capital Partners.

The project on 64 acres at Interstate 4 and Daryl Carter Pkwy. near Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet Mall will be Central Florida’s largest to break ground in years, says a spokesperson for the contractor.

It will exceed the size of The Crosslands, a 427,000 sq. ft. center earlier developed by a partnership that included O’Connor Capital Partners. The Crosslands was also constructed by Williams Company Southeast. The news release didn’t state its dollar value.

The designer is Eleven18 Architecture, Orlando, and the project engineer is Harris Civil Engineers LLC, Orlando. Construction is slated for completion in 2018.
