Verdex to begin construction on new Port St. Lucie hotels

West Palm Beach-based Verdex Construction says it has started the construction of TownePlace Suites by Marriott Hotel in Port St. Lucie.

The five-story building, located at 10460 SW Village Parkway, will include 128 guest rooms. The 83,000-sq.-ft. development will be built on 3.6-acre of the land.

The project’s developer is PSL Hospitality.

The hotel will include amenities such as a pool, spa, an outdoor fire pit and barbecue. Construction will cost $13.5 million.

The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2019.
